Job summary

Enhanced Engineering Group Pty Ltd in Carrum Downs, VIC, is seeking experienced fabricators/boilermakers to join a busy shop repairing, modifying and building trucks and waste equipment for major operators. You will read drawings, MIG weld structural steel and work from laser-cut parts, with early start times and plenty of overtime.

This is a hands-on role for skilled tradespeople with full working rights in Australia; forklift and HR licences are advantageous in a team-oriented, safety-focused

Qualifications

Qualified, experienced boilermaker, fabricator or welder – no apprentices.
Proficient MIG welding on structural and plate steel.
Able to read engineering drawings accurately.
Experience in waste industry or heavy vehicles is a big advantage.
Works well in a team, takes ownership and is reliable.

Responsibilities

Repairs and rebuilds on rear lifts, front lifts, hook lifts and compactors.
Chassis extensions, wheelbase changes and body mounting.
Custom steel - tailgates, brackets, tanks and truck body components.
Fabricating from drawings and cut-and-fold parts off our own laser and press brake.
