Job summary

Rizz'n'Bella's Grooming Salon and Doggy Daycare in Mona Vale is seeking an experienced groomer to join our team. Must be available to work 3-5 weekdays, with flexibility during peak periods and school holidays.

Preferred: at least 2 years of grooming salon experience. No formal qualifications required. Australian work rights are necessary. You will handle dogs, perform baths, drying, brushing, nails, and assist senior groomers in a supportive, cage-free, bright salon environment.

Responsibilities

• Dog Handling: confidently handle a variety of dog breeds, sizes and ages.
• Grooming and groomers support: bathe, dry, brush, clip nails and groom dogs as directed by senior groomers.
• Clean & Safe Workspace: keep the grooming area neat and sanitary.
• Team Spirit: take direction well and be willing to learn with initiative.
• Compassion: show genuine care for animals in all duties.

Our purpose built salon is light, bright and airy, with full air-conditioning, lots of space, cage free, big windows, top quality equipment and master groomer approved layout - a fun and vibrant work environment.

Position Requirements:

• Must be available to work 3-5 week days, with flexibility during peak periods and school holidays (especially Christmas and Easter).
• Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in a grooming salon, with familiarity in handling various grooming tasks.
• Must have Australian work rights for this position.
• No formal qualifications or certifications are required for this role.
