Job summary

Programmed is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver for a West Footscray site. The role is a day shift from 7:00 to 15:00, Monday to Friday, with long-term prospects.

A current LF forklift licence and at least 2 years of counterbalance forklift experience are required, along with full work rights and the ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol test. Occasional duties on production lines and a food manufacturing environment are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be available Monday to Friday for day shift 7am–3pm.

Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklifts to move pallets and loads.
• Drive small road sweeper (training provided).
• Check and verify paperwork for dispatch and traceability.
• Use RF scanning to pickup and packing duties.
• Prepare, stage and check orders for dispatch.
• Support production lines as needed.
• Maintain safety and clean working environment.

Experienced Day Shift Forklift Driver in West Footscray!

• Located in West Footscray VIC (Western Suburbs)
• Day Shift 7am - 3pm (Monday - Friday) Long -term
• $45.90 per hour (including casual loading)

Programmed are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join their client in West Footscray who Specialize in the Manufacturing and distribution of premium food products.

Successful applicants must have a current valid LF forklift licence with at least 2 years experience operating Counterbalance forklifts, and must be available Monday - Friday for day shift 7am - 3pm. Please note: you must have full work rights long-term and pass a Drug and Alcohol test before commencement.

Job Requirements:

• LF Forklift licence with at least 2 years experience driving counterbalance forklifts
• Must have full work rights long-term
• Must pass a Drug and Alcohol test before commencing
• Must be physically fit to complete manual lifting and pallet wrapping
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
• Must be reliable and Safety focused
• excellent verbal and written communication skills

Duties Involved:

• Operating counterbalance forklifts to move pallets, pallecons and skips (must have at least 2 years experience)
• Drive small road sweeper (training provided)
• Checking and verifying paperwork
• Understand and create labels and codes correctly for traceability
• Lift up to 15kg boxes from shoulder heigh constantly to feed packing machine.
• Ability to use the electric pallet jack.
• Rf scanning and pick packing
  
• preparing, staging, and checking orders for dispatch
• Must be comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment
• Will sometimes be required to help out on production lines
