Job summary

Ausenco in Newcastle, NSW seeks a Civil Engineer to design earthworks pads, roads and drainage in remote terrains and support project delivery. The role involves data gathering on site, preparing drawings and lists, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, 4+ years in an engineering consultancy, and familiarity with AutoCAD, 12D or Civil 3D. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience within an engineering consultancy or similar project environment.
• Experience with AutoCAD, 12D and/or Civil 3D will be highly regarded.
• Experience in drainage design using Rational Method and software-driven drainage design like 12d Drainage Network Editor, DRAINS, MUSIC, TUFLOW, etc. will be highly regarded.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Willingness to travel as required will be highly regarded.
