Job summary

Ausenco is recruiting a Civil Designer to join our Newcastle team. You will develop earthworks, drainage, and roadway design solutions that meet client specifications and project requirements.

You will ensure outputs are accurate and aligned with project standards, and you will mentor graduate engineers while upholding Ausenco’s drafting practices and design standards across projects. With 5+ years in earthworks/roadworks and drainage design within mining or heavy industrial sectors, you’ll

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in earthworks, roadworks, and drainage design within industries such as mining, mineral processing, materials handling, or heavy industrial.
• Advanced Diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification is desirable.
• Proven expertise in Civil 3D and AutoCAD is essential. 12D experience with a willingness to upskill in Civil 3D may be considered for the right candidate.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with excellent time management and the ability to work independently.
