Job summary

Blue Gum Café, located in Pennant Hills, is seeking an experienced Chef to lead the kitchen within a retirement village. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 10:30am–6:30pm, with no split shifts, and focuses on healthy, nutritious meals for about 20 residents.

You will plan weekly menus, manage kitchen operations, ensure food safety, and adapt meals to dietary requirements. The successful candidate has min 5 years’ experience, strong organization, and can work independently in a small team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Chef.
• Strong menu planning and food preparation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a small kitchen.
• Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Flexibility to work occasional weekends when required.
• Monday to Friday roster (10:30am - 6:30pm).
• No split shifts.
