Job summary

Launch Bookkeeping and Advisory is growing and seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join our Nerang-based team. You’ll manage bookkeeping for a diverse client base and take ownership of your work with a focus on accuracy and client service.

You’ll work across Xero, MYOB and other platforms, prepare BAS and IAS workbooks, review files for issues and help clients improve their processes. Flexible part-time or full-time role with remote options.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years bookkeeping experience, ideally in a client-facing environment.
• Strong Xero skills and the confidence to learn and adapt to other accounting systems.
• Excellent understanding of GST, BAS, payroll and compliance.
• Trust accounting experience is advantageous but not required.
• Able to handle complex or messy files with attention to detail.
• Communicate confidently and professionally with clients.
• Proactive mindset and collaborative team player.

Responsibilities

• Managing bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients.
• Working with complex files across Xero, MYOB and other platforms.
• Preparing BAS and IAS workbooks.
• Reviewing files and identifying issues before they become problems.
• Completing catch-up and clean up bookkeeping.
• Working with clients to resolve queries and improve processes.
• Specialist areas include legal trust accounting.
