Cordwells is seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Fabricator to join our workshop in Queensland. You will weld steel, fabricate components, and repair quarry and concrete equipment while keeping safety and efficiency front of mind.

Guidance and supervision may be minimal; you will read engineering drawings and work to high standards, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to customer specs.

About You

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Trade Qualification as a Boilermaker/Welder




• Strong welding and fabrication skills




• Ability to read and interpret workshop drawings as well as decipher maintenance requests such as \"It\'s making a funny noise\" and \"It just stopped\".




• Commitment to workplace health and safety - explaining that paint is not a structural repair method.




• Current Driver\'s Licence




• Ability to work unsupervised and meet deadlines

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude especially when someone says, \"Can you just have a quick look at this?\" and points to half the quarry.
