Job summary

Brisbane City Council is seeking experienced Boilermakers or Welders for a high-quality project on the William Jolly Bridge in Brisbane. The role involves TIG, MIG and Stick welding on structural steel, onsite fabrication and structural modifications.

You will work with the concrete remediation team, communicate effectively within a team and independently when needed. Essential tickets include trade qualification as Boilermaker or Welder, working at heights, and a C class licence; MR licence and

Are you an experienced Boilermaker or Welder looking for steady, high-quality project work in Brisbane.

We have an exciting opportunity with Brisbane City Council, working alongside our Concrete Remediation team on the iconic William Jolly Bridge.

Shift & Location Details

• Location: William Jolly Bridge (onsite parking provided with daily travel allowance)
• Roster: 4 x 9.5-hour days, Monday to Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Overtime: Standard site operations run 5 days a week meaning Friday is a regular working day paid at full overtime rates for hours over 38

What you will need to exceed

We are looking for multiple experienced Boilermakers who are reliable and enjoy providing a high quality of work. The ideal applicant will also have a strong sense of teamwork and a commitment to safety. You will also need to have the following tickets and licenses

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker or Welder (essential)
• Working at heights ticket (essential)
• C Class drivers licence (essential)
• MR License (desirable)
• Concrete or formwork experience (desirable)
