Job summary

ICC Sydney, a premier events venue in Barangaroo, Australia, is looking for an experienced Event Delivery Supervisor to lead operations across The Cutaway and ICC Sydney venues. You will coordinate event delivery, mentor teams, and ensure exceptional guest experiences for diverse occasions.

The role is based on-site, with responsibilities spanning logistics, safety, and client liaison, offering strong career growth within a flagship PPP precinct and a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum four years in events industry with two in supervision.
  • Valid NSW RSA accreditation.
  • Forklift licence is desirable.
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork.
  • Knowledge of WH&S laws and NSW liquor regulations.
  • Eligible to work in Australia (18+).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and deliver event operations including F&B and logistics.
  • Act as key contact for clients and stakeholders during events.
  • Lead and mentor large operational teams to deliver service excellence.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Drive standards in client service and guest experience.

About this opportunity:

ICC Sydney are looking for a passionate and experienced Event Delivery Supervisor to join our world-class team. No two days will be the same while you empower our team to deliver extraordinary service for a multitude of events across our venues. This role will be stationed at the Cutaway but will still work across both ICC Sydney and The Cutaway depending on business needs.

In this role, you will:
  • Coordinate and deliver event operations, including food and beverage service, venue readiness, logistics and loading dock activities, ensuring seamless event delivery and compliance with ICC Sydney policies, procedures and service standards.
  • Act as the key point of contact and escalation for clients and stakeholders during event tenancy, ensuring all service requests, operational needs, and issues are resolved efficiently and to the highest standard.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a large, diverse team across event operations and food & beverage services, fostering a high-performance culture focused on service excellence and accountability.
  • Oversee coordination with internal departments including logistics, technical services, and hospitality to ensure seamless, end-to-end event delivery.
  • Drive operational excellence by implementing and maintaining best-in-class standards in client service and guest experience, reinforcing ICC Sydney's reputation as a premium event destination.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum four years industry experience including two years in a senior supervisory role (desirable).
  • Valid NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol accreditation.
  • Forklift Licence (desirable).
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver a high level of customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large operational teams.
  • Working knowledge of WH&S legislation, risk assessment practices, food safety standards and NSW liquor laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple teams
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to work in a team or autonomously with minimal direction.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
  • You must be 18 years or over.
