Job summary

Cobb Lane is seeking an Experienced Baker to join our passionate and motivated team creating beautiful baked goods for the people of Melbourne. This opportunity is suited for a qualified baker who is looking to work with a supportive team to progress their career.

The full time position will be based at our South Melbourne Market stall after your initial training in our Yarraville kitchen. Shifts start between 4am - 8am, 8 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years baking experience.
• Experience with artisan sourdough and yeasted breads.
• Knowledge of natural fermentation and yeasted dough techniques.
• Excellent hand moulding skills; attention to detail and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake artisan breads and pastries as part of a team.
• Ensure quality and consistency across products.
• Support training and development in a busy kitchen.
