Job summary

Journey Beyond is recruiting experienced Coach Drivers to support the Expedition Ghan Season in Coober Pedy from April to November, with December to March tours to Victoria. You’ll ensure safe operation of the coach, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and engage with guests on off-train excursions across iconic Australian regions.

Ideal candidates will hold an HR licence, SA Driver Accreditation, WWC clearance, and a Senior First Aid certificate, with a strong safety mindset and proven

Qualifications

• Current HR drivers’ licence is required.
• South Australian Driver Accreditation is required.
• Working with Children (Employment) clearance is required.
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Satisfactory national criminal history check is required.
• Demonstrated coach driving experience is essential.
• Outstanding safety focus and fatigue management competency.
• Experience delivering excellent customer service.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is desirable.
• Exceptional personal presentation and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standard of customer service to all passengers, creating a positive experience on every service.
• Comply with company and department safety policies and procedures.
• Consistently ensure the safety of yourself, passengers and vehicle.
• Provide interactive and engaging day tours for guests.
• Clean and maintain the inside and outside of the coach and assist with cleaning of other coaches for next-day tours.
• Work a roster of 5 days on, 2 off.
