AKG Group is offering a 12 month temporary full-time role for an Exercise Physiologist across Caloundra, Gympie and Maroochydore in Queensland. Start January 2027.

You will conduct health and vocational assessments, deliver evidence-based interventions, and provide group sessions, telehealth, and workplace services to help clients overcome barriers and sustain employment. You will work with a multidisciplinary national team, engage in regular supervision, and collaborate with employers to

Qualifications

• Exercise Physiologist with ESSA membership.
• Experience building work capacity or returning to work.
• Strong organisation and time management skills.
• Proven ability to motivate and genuinely engage with people.
• Ability to obtain Blue Card, Police Check and MyID.
• Drivers licence.

Responsibilities

• Covering offices in Caloundra, Gympie and Maroochydore.
• Conduct health and vocational assessments and deliver evidence-based clinical interventions.
• Provide individual and group interventions, workplace services, health and wellbeing seminars, and telehealth.
• Use discipline-specific skills to address health and vocational barriers and increase employability.
• Support clients with clinical presentations and psychosocial barriers.
• Participate in regular clinical supervision and training for professional development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and employers to improve client outcomes.
• Provide specialist services including manual handling training, ergonomic assessments, FCEs, pre-employment screens and workplace assessments.
