Job summary

AKG Australia is seeking an Exercise Physiologist (or OT/Physiotherapist with AHPRA) to deliver health and vocational assessments and evidence-based clinical interventions. You will provide individual and group sessions, workplace services, seminars, and telehealth, supporting clients with diverse barriers to improve employability and sustained employment.

Qualifications

• Exercise Physiologist with ESSA membership or Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with AHPRA registration.
• Experience building work capacity or working in a return to work setting preferred.
• Strong organisation and time management skills.
• Proven ability to motivate and genuinely engage with people.
• Ability to obtain a Blue Card and Police Check and MyID.
• Drivers licence.

Responsibilities

• Work 3 days a week with flexibility on days and conduct health and vocational assessments.
• Deliver evidence-based clinical interventions and provide individual and group services.
• Deliver workplace services, health and wellbeing seminars, and telehealth services.
• Address health and vocational barriers to increase employability and sustained employment.
• Support clients with diverse clinical presentations and psychosocial barriers.
• Engage in regular clinical supervision and training for professional development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and employers to improve client outcomes.
• Provide specialist services including manual handling training, ergonomic assessments, FCEs, and pre-employment screens.
