Job summary

Health Workforce is seeking a Community Exercise Physiologist for a permanent full-time role in Toowoomba, Queensland. You will manage a 100% clinical caseload from the start, with the flexibility to work from home, in parks, or at a cafe for office tasks.

You will conduct home, workplace, school, or kindy visits to maximize client outcomes, with gym-based days providing a clinic-like environment. The role emphasizes NDIS and community-aged care, report writing, and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 18 months+ of experience as an Exercise Physiologist.
• Current ESSA Registration.
• Current indemnity insurance & Public Liability.
• CPR & First Aid Certificate.
• Australian Driver’s License.
• Wanting to work within a community setting.

Responsibilities

• 100% Clinical case load from the beginning.
• Work from home, the park, or a cafe for office work.
• In community consultations - see clients in their own home, workplace, school or kindy.
• Gym based and pool-based days with a clinic-base feel.
• Treat a range of clientele and ages (NDIS & My Aged Care).
• Write reports to third parties.
• Contribute to system improvements and team growth.

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Exercise Physiology
