Job summary

Sydney Exercise Medicine in Westmead, NSW, is seeking a dedicated Exercise Physiologist for a full-time permanent role. The position combines clinic-based work at our Westmead clinic with mobile visits in clients’ homes and communities within a 30–45 minute radius.

You will work with children, adolescents and adults with diverse needs, supported by a collaborative team and opportunities to grow clinically as the clinic expands.

Qualifications

• ESSA accreditation or eligibility to obtain accreditation
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Current NSW driver’s licence
• Medicare and SIRA provider numbers, or willingness to obtain them
• Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
• National Police Check
• Working with Children Check
• NDIS Worker Check, or willingness to obtain one
• Full working rights in Australia

Responsibilities

• Delivering individual Exercise Physiology sessions in the clinic and community
• Assessing clients and designing tailored exercise programs
• Writing clinical reports for funding and referral pathways (NDIS, DVA, Medicare, WorkCover)
• Collaborating with clients, families, GPs, support coordinators and other health professionals
• Contributing to team meetings and ongoing professional development
• Supporting clients across the lifespan, including children and adolescents

Are you an experienced Exercise Physiologist looking for a varied caseload, a supportive team and room to grow? Or a new graduate ready to build strong clinical foundations with the right mentoring?

Sydney Exercise Medicine is a growing allied health clinic delivering person-centred care to people living with disability, chronic conditions and persistent pain. Our team brings Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology together under one roof, creating opportunities to collaborate and learn across disciplines.

We are looking for a full-time permanent Exercise Physiologist to join our team, working Monday to Friday. Relevant experience is valued, and strong new graduates with excellent placement experience are encouraged to apply.

About the role

This role combines clinic-based work at our Westmead clinic with mobile visits in clients’ homes and communities, generally within a 30–45-minute radius.

You will support children, adolescents and adults with a diverse range of needs, including disability, neurological conditions, chronic disease and persistent pain. You will have support from a collaborative team and opportunities to build your clinical skills as our service continues to grow.

Your work will include:
