Job summary

Proactive Health in Adelaide is seeking a new graduate or early-career Exercise Physiologist to join an established clinic. You’ll start with a full diary, work across DVA, Medicare EPC, NDIS, and private clients, and benefit from a new grad program with supervision.

You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists and social workers, delivering individual and small group sessions while maintaining ESSA-compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• A recognised degree in Exercise Physiology.
• ESSA accreditation or eligibility for accreditation.
• New graduate up to two years’ experience.
• Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle for travel between southern clinics.
• Current professional indemnity insurance, or willingness to obtain it.
• National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check, current or willing to obtain.
• South Australian Working with Children Check, current or willing to obtain.
• Warmth with clients and a genuine interest in learning.

Responsibilities

• Run assessments, including functional testing, health screening and exercise capacity.
• Pick up existing programs and build on client progress.
• Design evidence-based exercise plans for clinic, gym, home and community settings.
• Deliver individual and small group sessions.
• Work with the physio and social work team on shared clients.
• Keep clinical documentation in line with ESSA standards and Proactive Health’s governance.
