Job summary

BlueCare on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to support clients in improving mobility, independence and wellbeing across centre-based and home-visiting services. You will tailor programs, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and manage your own caseload with achievable productivity expectations.

The role offers mentoring for graduates, flexibility in days and hours, opportunities to grow community and private caseloads, and involvement in team meetings and education

Qualifications

• Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology + ESSA Accreditation - Essential
• Strong assessment, treatment and communication skills
• Experience or interest in aged care and chronic disease management
• Ability to run group exercise classes
• Effective time-management and accurate documentation skills
• Confidence using smart devices (or willingness to learn)
• Current Australian Driver's Licence, roadworthy and insured vehicle to use for work - Essential
• Alignment with BlueCare values and practice standards
• Skills in hydrotherapy, Pilates or Tai Chi

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage your own caseload.
• Mentor new graduates and participate in group programs.
• Grow community and private caseloads and run group exercise classes.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, education and student supervision.
