Job summary

BlueCare on the Sunshine Coast is hiring an Exercise Physiologist to support clients across centre-based and home-visit services. You will tailor programs to improve mobility, independence and wellbeing, and manage a personal caseload with reasonable productivity expectations.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, OTs, dietitians, social workers and allied health staff, with supervision and ongoing professional development throughout your role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology with ESSA accreditation is essential.
• Strong assessment, treatment and communication skills required.
• Experience or interest in aged care and chronic disease management.
• Ability to run group exercise classes and manage time effectively.
• Accurate documentation and reliable use of smart devices.

• Support from an Exercise Physiology Lead and Clinical Coordinators.
• Mentoring for new graduates.
• Flexibility in days/hours.
• Grow community and private caseloads and run group programs.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings, education and student supervision.

You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Physios, OTs, Dietitians, Social Workers, Podiatrists and Allied Health Assistants—all while having the autonomy to manage your own caseload with realistic productivity expectations.

Role Requirements
