Department of Finance in Canberra seeks an Executive Project Director for the Ngurra Project. You will lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver a flagship infrastructure initiative, ensuring on-time, on-budget results with an emphasis on safety and innovation.

You will shape governance, monitor progress, manage risks and report to Finance leadership, while fostering strong relationships across government, industry and community stakeholders.

Formación

• Citizenship requirement: Australian citizens for APS roles unless approved otherwise in writing.
• Security clearance: eligible to obtain and maintain the required level prior to commencement.
• Contract flexibility: advertised as both ongoing and non-ongoing; term may be up to 12 months, extendable to 18 months.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor and motivate a multidisciplinary delivery team.
• Deliver a fit-for-purpose project on time, on budget and to quality with safety and innovation.
• Provide senior strategic leadership to establish and operate governance for project delivery, including monitoring and reporting against work plans.
• Represent the project in senior government forums and maintain relationships with stakeholders across government, industry and community.
