Macquarie Group in Sydney seeks an Executive/Manager - FP&A for Business Banking. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting, analysing results and identifying trends to support commercial decision-making.

You will also help improve reporting processes and contribute to strategic planning across the division, with a focus on driving sustainable growth and value creation for clients and the bank.

Qualificações

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and variance analysis.
• Clear communication and presentation skills.
• Understanding of banking/financial services sector.
• Professional qualifications such as CA/CPA, or progress toward completion.

Our Financial Management team partners with the Business Banking business within Banking and Financial Services to support financial performance, business planning and decision‑making. We work closely with senior leaders to provide insight that supports decision‑making, improves performance and drives sustainable growth.

What role will you play?

In this role you will partner with stakeholders across Business Banking to deliver forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting. You will analyse business results, identify trends and opportunities, and provide insights that support commercial decision‑making. You will also help improve reporting processes and contribute to strategic planning activities across the division.

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify key drivers of business performance.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and variance analysis, with strong attention to detail.
• Clear communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to share insights and recommendations with a range of stakeholders.
• Understanding of banking, financial services or regulated industries, with an interest in commercial drivers and business performance.
• Professional qualification such as CA or CPA, or progress towards completion, supported by a degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related discipline.
