Job summary

Macquarie Bank Limited in Sydney seeks a Senior Manager to lead the Finance Platforms Centre of Excellence. You will govern, improve, and automate financial management platforms, data and reporting, partnering with Finance and Technology to enhance forecasting and controls.

The role requires 10+ years in accounting, leadership experience, and expertise in data governance, Anaplan/TM1 and Power BI, with CA or CPA qualifications.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in accounting, with recent experience in Systems Accounting, Finance Systems or related fields.
• Experience leading teams and delivering high-quality services and outcomes for stakeholders.
• Knowledge of data governance, data lineage and reconciliation practices, with a strong focus on risk management and controls.
• Experience using Enterprise Performance Management platforms such as Anaplan, TM1 or similar tools, together with reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, supported by a CA or CPA qualification.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for the governance, performance and continuous improvement of Financial Management platforms, data and reporting processes.
• Work closely with Finance and Technology teams to deliver platform enhancements, support forecasting and reporting activities.
• Strengthen controls, and drive automation across Finance.

Our Banking and Financial Services Financial Management Centre of Excellence team supports planning, forecasting and reporting across Finance, while improving the platforms, data and controls that underpin these processes. What role will you play?

In this role you will lead a team responsible for the governance, performance and continuous improvement of Financial Management platforms, data and reporting processes.
