Job summary

Shire of Chittering is seeking an Executive Manager, Technical Services, to lead engineering and infrastructure teams and oversee capital works, assets and service delivery for the Shire in Western Australia.

The role requires a proven track record in local government management, strong strategic planning, financial oversight and stakeholder engagement, with a relevant Engineering/Technical qualification highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in local government management, or equivalent in private/public sectors.
• Qualification in Engineering/Technical fields is highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure assets, capital works programs and operational services.
• Drive organisational performance through multidisciplinary teams.
• Oversee financial management and budgetary oversight; report to Council.
