Shellharbour City Council is seeking an Executive Manager People and Culture to provide strategic leadership for the People and Culture Business Unit, guiding HR, industrial relations, culture, learning and development, recruitment, payroll, and workforce planning. You will work with the Executive and Senior Leadership Teams to align people practices with community objectives.

Experienced and influential leader with a strong background across human resources, industrial relations and organisational development.
Trusted adviser and skilled collaborator who builds relationships at all levels of the organisation.
Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, navigate change and build a high‑performing, inclusive workplace.

Responsabilidades

Provide strategic leadership for Council’s People and Culture Business Unit and guide workforce strategy.
Deliver strategic advice ensuring legislative and industrial obligations are met and lead culture, leadership capability and employee engagement initiatives.
Oversee policy, compliance and budget management to support Council’s objectives.
