Job summary

LVI Associates is partnering with a growing renewable energy developer to appoint an accomplished General Manager in Melbourne. The role leads project development, grid connection strategy, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of utility-scale renewables and storage infrastructure.

The General Manager will shape development strategy, influence investment decisions, and drive execution across development, transmission and network engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in renewable energy or electricity infrastructure development.
• Experience leading large-scale projects from origination to delivery.
• Strong executive leadership and stakeholder engagement experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development activities from greenfield origination to financial close and delivery.
• Lead transmission, grid connection, and network engagement strategies.
• Manage land access, approvals, and key commercial arrangements.
• Oversee environmental approvals, planning processes, and stakeholder engagement.
• Develop relationships with transmission utilities, regulators, investors, and strategic partners.
• Support investment decisions, acquisitions, and portfolio growth.
• Build and lead multidisciplinary teams across development, commercial, engineering and delivery.
• Contribute to corporate strategy and business expansion opportunities.
