Following significant strategic design, planning and conceptualisation, the focus is now firmly on execution and delivery, supported by technology, digital capability, transformed business processes and a high‑performing organisational culture.

The division in which this role leads brings together the organisation’s technology, digital and business reform agenda. Importantly, Technology Operations is an established and operational function within the division. This appointment is therefore focused on leading and optimising existing technology capability while driving the broader enterprise transformation agenda.

About the role

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and operating as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the role will lead the organisation’s technology, digital and transformation agenda.

With much of the strategic design, planning and conceptualisation already well developed, the focus is firmly on execution, translating an ambitious transformation agenda into tangible outcomes across systems, processes and culture.

The role will lead major transformation programs, business process redesign and the continued evolution of digital, AI, cyber, data and technology capabilities. You will also provide vision, leadership and governance across IT strategy, technology plans and architecture, ensuring these capabilities remain aligned with organisational priorities and industry best practice.

Working collaboratively with the CEO and executive colleagues, the successful candidate will contribute to whole‑of‑organisation leadership and help create alignment around shared transformation priorities and outcomes.

About You

You are an accomplished executive leader with extensive experience across technology, digital and enterprise transformation, with a demonstrated track record of delivering complex, cross‑functional organisational initiatives and transformation programs. You bring highly developed strategic, analytical and commercial capability, with the judgement and delivery focus required to translate strategy into implementation and maintain momentum through complex delivery.

You will bring many years of significant experience leading an information technology and transformation function, including digital capability, strategic planning, technology operations, applications, platforms and infrastructure. You will be comfortable providing executive leadership across technology while maintaining a broader enterprise perspective. Importantly, this opportunity requires more than technical expertise. You will be a collaborative and constructive enterprise leader, able to build trusted relationships at CEO, Board and executive level, navigate complexity, lead specialist teams and create alignment across diverse stakeholders.
