Job summary

Stride Mental Health is seeking an Executive Director Governance, Strategy & Risk to join the Executive Leadership Team in Sydney/Brisbane (hybrid). This role connects strategy with execution across governance, risk, quality, assurance and evidence to drive sustainable growth and impact.

You will lead the implementation of the Stride 2030 plan, mature Board reporting, build organisational insights and strengthen stakeholder partnerships, with a consumer-centred, accountable service delivery

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership in a complex, regulated organisation.
• Experience leading enterprise governance, strategy, risk, assurance and performance functions.
• Ability to translate strategy into measurable operational delivery.
• Strong understanding of Board reporting and governance frameworks.
• Commitment to consumer-centred, safe and accountable service delivery.
• Highly desirable: experience in community services or not-for-profit sectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and performance monitoring of the Stride 2030 Strategic Plan, strengthening the connection between strategy, priorities and accountability.
• Mature Stride's governance, risk, quality, assurance frameworks and Board/Executive reporting.
• Build evidence, evaluation and organisational insights capability to inform decisions and improvements.
• Strengthen business development and strategic growth aligned with Stride's purpose.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, advocacy and partnerships with commissioners, government and communities.
• Provide strategic leadership across marketing and communications to support objectives.
