Job summary

Lane Cove Council is seeking an accomplished Director Services to lead the Services Directorate and the corporate functions including financial services, governance, people and culture, and technology. You will steer community services such as libraries, early childhood, and cultural programs while driving a Business Transformation Program to lift efficiency and customer experience.

You will report to the General Manager as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, managing nine direct reports

Qualifications

• Experience leading senior leadership teams in complex public sector environments.
• Strong financial planning, budgeting and procurement expertise.
• Proven governance, risk management and compliance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Services Directorate.
• Oversee long-term financial planning, budgeting and procurement.
