Job summary

Attorney-General's Department – Official in Adelaide CBD seeks an Associate Director to lead regulatory policy and legislative reform, shaping strategic directions and delivering high-impact governance across two specialist functions.

You will report to the Assistant Commissioner and collaborate with the Commissioner and CBS executives to provide expert policy advice, drive reform priorities and coordinate ministerial support.

Qualifications

• Senior leader with strong track record in regulatory policy and legislative reform.
• Experience in public administration or comparable advisory environment.
• Ability to lead across CBS and coordinate with Ministerial offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory policy and strategic advice to support executive and parliamentary decision-making.
• Drive legislative reform and modernisation across CBS’s remit.
• Turn regulatory intelligence and evidence into reform priorities and service improvements.
• Build influence across government and beyond with stakeholders in government, industry and community.
• Set direction and build specialist capability through managers and teams.
