Job summary

University of Sydney is seeking an Executive Director, Digital Engagement to lead ICT partnerships and shape client-centric digital strategy across the University. You will provide strategic leadership to the Digital Engagement function and collaborate with senior ICT and university stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of ICT and/or business leadership experience with at least 5+ years in a client-engagement related team.
• Extensive leadership in ICT within education or a complex ICT environment.
• Significant experience in managing large and complex budgets and resource pools.
• Knowledge of tertiary sector issues and their application to ICT functions.
• Experience with program and portfolio management.
• Ability to prioritise and execute tasks under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ICT partnering function to engage and support senior stakeholders across the University.
• Ensure client technology strategy aligns with current and future digital technologies.
• Develop and implement the Digital Engagement strategy and budgets.
• Develop, submit and manage annual operational and capital budgets.
• Provide progress reports and address challenges.
• Lead and mentor Engagement staff and foster collaboration.
• Drive continuous improvement across ICT.
