Job summary

The University of Sydney is seeking an Executive Director, Digital Engagement to lead ICT partnerships and shape digital strategy across the university. Based in Sydney, you will work with senior leaders to drive client-centric ICT initiatives.

This full-time, five-year fixed-term role requires a track record of ICT leadership, managing large budgets, and delivering strategic roadmaps. You will mentor a team and oversee the Digital Engagement function with a focus on continuous improvement,

Responsibilities

• Lead ICT partnering function to engage, advise and support senior stakeholders, the Portfolio Service Units (PSUs) and Faculties across the University in the development of their digital strategies.
• Ensure the client technology strategy aligns with current and future digital technologies that underpin the ICT digital roadmap.
• Lead the development and implementation of the Digital Engagement strategy and plan(s), ensuring alignment with the broader ICT strategy/plan(s), including budget and resource allocation strategies and plans.
• Develop, submit and implement annual operational and capital budgets, manage expenditure effectively within budget
• Ensure the development and delivery of reports on progress and any challenges encountered.
• Lead and mentor a team of Engagement staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Lead initiatives that promote a culture of continuous improvement across ICT.
