The role provides senior strategic leadership for planning, design and delivery of high-impact clinical operations and service transformation initiatives to support Northern Health's strategic objectives and long-term financial sustainability.

Qualifications

• Experience leading transformation initiatives across clinical operations, patient flow, access and capacity management.
• Participation in cross-health service learning, improvement or redesign programs.
• Demonstrated negotiation and advocacy skills as well as extensive conflict resolution experience.
• Highly developed ability in generating and maintaining collaborative partnerships with stakeholders, both internal and external, to generate and enhance system developments, policy and planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated high-level leadership and change management skills
• Demonstrated experience in providing strategic leadership and influence.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering sound financial and budget performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of priority clinical operations and transformation programs, ensuring alignment with Northern Health's strategic plan, operational priorities and financial sustainability objectives.
• Lead initiatives that improve timely access to care, patient flow, capacity management and operational performance across the organisation.
• Oversee the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Daily Operating System (DOS), Access Governance Framework and associated clinical operations programs of work.
• Act as a trusted strategic advisor to the Chief Operating Officer and Divisional Directors, identifying opportunities to improve performance, drive innovation and strengthen organisational capability.
• Identify, assess and mitigate strategic, operational and change-related risks associated with transformation and service improvement initiatives.
