Job summary

North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) is seeking an exceptional Executive Director for the Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Health Care Group to drive strategic planning, transformation and high-level operational performance across two major WA hospitals.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, align clinical services with quality, safety and financial objectives, and foster partnerships with clinicians, government bodies and universities to deliver sustainable, patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior executive experience leading large and complex hospitals or acute health services.
• Track record of driving strategic reform and service improvement in complex healthcare environments.
• Proven capability in managing significant budgets within an activity-based funding environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead one of Western Australia’s largest tertiary hospital groups with accountability for clinical services and performance across Sir Charles Gairdner and Osborne Park hospitals.
• Provide strategic and operational leadership to multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient-centred care and continuous improvement.
• Drive planning, implementation and evaluation of healthcare services to meet targets, standards, and financial objectives in an activity-based funding environment.
• Lead organisational transformation, teaching, research, and workforce development to strengthen clinical excellence and sustainability.
• Build partnerships with clinicians, executive leaders, government agencies, universities, professional bodies and community stakeholders to support integrated delivery.
• Advise the Chief Executive and NMHS Executive team on operational performance and future healthcare strategy.
