• Senior leadership experience in the AI industry or related fields.
• Proven ability to develop, influence and drive a strategic agenda.
• Exemplary stakeholder engagement experience with external stakeholders outside of government.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transformation of Australia’s AI ecosystem and contribute to the National AI Plan.
• Advise and support Government on portfolio issues, governance, and cross-agency collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with legislative obligations and maintain a connected, integrated department.
• Provide leadership across the APS in delivering whole-of-Government policies and services.
