Job summary

SA Water is seeking an experienced Senior Manager Cyber Security and Resilience (CISO) to lead enterprise cyber strategy, operations and resilience across critical infrastructure. Reporting to the CIO, you will steer governance, risk, incident response and architecture, shaping cyber maturity and executive-level decisions in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated leadership of complex cyber security, resilience and risk functions in large organisations.
• Strong understanding of cyber security legislation, regulatory obligations and industry frameworks, ideally within critical infrastructure environments.
• Experience developing, implementing and maintaining cyber security management systems and enterprise security capabilities.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills at executive level.
• Experience leading change and cyber security uplift initiatives in utility, asset-intensive or similarly complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead SA Water’s cyber security and resilience strategy, roadmap and investment priorities.
• Oversee cyber security operations, threat detection, monitoring and protection capabilities.
• Lead the preparedness and response activities for cyber incidents and security events.
• Drive cyber security governance, risk management and regulatory compliance obligations.
• Build strong partnerships across the business, executive leadership team and external agencies.
• Develop and lead a high performing, engaged and capable cyber security team.
