Job summary

Novotel Perth Murray Street in Perth, WA, is seeking an Executive Chef to lead the Miss Mi concept with serious Pan-Asian credentials. You’ll govern culinary direction, manage the kitchen across conferencing, events and hotel dining, and drive exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef or senior culinary leader in quality hospitality settings.
• Genuine Pan-Asian culinary expertise essential with deep knowledge of ingredients, techniques and contemporary cuisine.
• Strong financial acumen with understanding of P&L, food cost, labour, margins and commercial realities.
• Solid knowledge of food safety, HACCP, WHS and kitchen compliance.
• People-first leadership style with experience developing talent and building high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the culinary direction of Miss Mi and deliver bold Pan-Asian offerings.
• Lead and develop the kitchen Heartists to create a high-performing culture.
• Drive quality, consistency and creativity across dining, conferencing and events.
• Manage food cost, labour, purchasing, margins, menu engineering and profitability.
• Keep HACCP and WHS standards strictly in place.
• Collaborate with F&B leadership to evolve guest experience and strategy.
