We have big growth plans in Australia and a lot of opportunity for someone who wants to be part of ever growing retailer with a global footprint.

The role

The Executive Assistant to the CEO and Executive Chairman plays a critical role in enabling highly effective leadership operations at 7- Eleven Australia. This role provides proactive, trusted and high-quality executive support, ensuring the CEO and Executive Chairman can focus their time, attention and energy on the most important enterprise priorities.

It requires exceptional foresight, sound judgement, discretion, emotional intelligence and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise.

  • Executive leadership support: Provide proactive, high-quality support to the CEO and Executive Chairman to enable high performance in daily operations, enterprise engagement and decision-making.
  • Leadership rhythm and enterprise cadence management: Understand enterprise cadences and translate them into practical, well-sequenced leadership activities, ensuring the right people, inputs and outcomes are aligned.
  • Strategic prioritisation and planning: Anticipate needs, manage competing priorities and apply sound judgement to ensure leadership time is focused on the highest-value activities.
  • Leadership engagement effectiveness: Support high-quality leadership moments, including agenda setting, meeting preparation, room management, attendee engagement, communications and follow-through on actions.
  • Stakeholder experience and relationship management: Build trusted relationships across all levels of the business and with external stakeholders, creating a positive and accessible experience with the CEO and Executive Chairman’s office.
  • Operational excellence: Deliver seamless coordination of calendars, travel, expenses, events, forums and executive requirements, including global business activities and logistics.
What a Day In The Life Will Look Like…
  • Manage complex and dynamic calendars for the CEO and Executive Chairman, ensuring priorities are sequenced effectively and leadership time is protected without creating a gatekeeping experience.
  • Coordinate executive travel, expenses and logistics with a high degree of accuracy and foresight, including domestic, international and global forum requirements.
  • Lead planning and coordination for executive meetings, enterprise forums, events and leadership ceremonies, ensuring inputs, attendees, materials and outcomes are clear.
  • Partner closely with the Chief of Staff to translate enterprise strategy, leadership rhythms and operating priorities into practical daily and weekly execution.
  • Support preparation of agendas, briefing materials, presentation packs, communications and follow-up actions to enable effective leadership decision-making and engagement.
  • Synthesise information, data and insights where required to support leader effectiveness, prioritisation and operational follow-through.
  • Coordinate with the EA community, Performance Partners, Culture, Capability and Communications teams to ensure enterprise calendar alignment and effective planning.
  • Contribute to the uplift of AI-enabled leadership operations, including improved ways of working across calendar management, travel, expense management, event planning and coordination.
What’s in your toolkit?
  • Significant experience providing executive support to C-suite or senior executive leaders in a complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex executive priorities, enterprise calendars, confidential information and high-pressure stakeholder environments.
  • Experience coordinating executive travel, expenses, events, board or global forum requirements and senior leadership meetings.
  • Strong capability using executive support and business systems such as Diligent, travel management platforms, Concur and SAP.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools and the ability to adopt AI-enabled ways of working to improve productivity, planning and coordination.
