Job description

Some people manage calendars Others manage momentum We're looking for the latter.

This is not your typical Executive Assistant role. It's an opportunity to work alongside a CEO who is ambitious, fast-moving and genuinely passionate about making an impact. You'll be at the centre of the action, helping turn priorities into progress, creating order from complexity, and ensuring the right things happen at the right time. You'll provide executive support while also playing a key role in board administration, governance, strategic coordination and stakeholder engagement.

You'll be the person who keeps the wheels turning without anyone noticing they're turning at all.

You'll move comfortably between executive support, strategic coordination, board administration and stakeholder engagement. One moment you'll be preparing board papers, the next you'll be coordinating executive priorities, researching strategic opportunities, managing key relationships or ensuring critical actions don't fall through the cracks.

What you'll be doing
  • Running a highly organised and proactive CEO office.
  • Managing a complex diary, inbox and competing priorities with confidence.
  • Preparing presentations, reports, briefing papers and executive communications.
  • Coordinating Board and Committee meetings, agendas, board packs and action registers.
  • Supporting governance processes and maintaining board documentation and reporting.
  • Building strong relationships with executives, directors and external stakeholders.
  • Driving follow-up actions and keeping strategic initiatives on track.
  • Coordinating travel, events and executive logistics.
  • Undertaking research, gathering insights and helping translate information into meaningful recommendations.
  • Acting as a trusted point of contact across the organisation and beyond.
About you

To succeed in this role, you'll bring proven experience supporting senior executives and Boards, coupled with a strong understanding of governance and corporate administration. You're naturally organised, commercially minded and comfortable navigating sensitive and complex environments. A qualification in Business, Law, Governance or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, will set you up for success.

You'll also bring:

  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written communication skills and sound judgement.
  • The confidence to engage with Board Directors, Executives and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to influence outcomes and respectfully hold people accountable.
  • A calm, solutions-focused approach when priorities shift.
  • Experience with board administration, governance frameworks or company secretarial responsibilities.
Why Comlink?

At Comlink, we're focused on creating meaningful outcomes for the communities we serve while continuing to evolve, improve and innovate.

You'll join a supportive executive team where your contribution is visible, valued and genuinely influential. This is a role for someone who enjoys being trusted, given autonomy and having a seat close to decision-making.

If you love being at the heart of a business, enjoy working with smart people and take pride in making things happen, we'd love to hear from you.
