Job summary

NLP Electrics on the Gold Coast is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for an immediate start. You will operate 3T and 5T excavators, perform pre-starts and checks, and work closely with the crew on site.

Your role requires at least 3 years of civil construction trenching experience, a valid excavator ticket, and construction induction card. Full working rights in Australia and reliable transport to site are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in the civil construction industry, specifically trenching work.
• Valid excavator ticket and construction induction card required.
• Qld HR unrestricted (condition B on license is not).
• Reliable transport to site.

Responsibilities

• Operate 3T and 5T excavators and work around live services.
• Support crew on the ground as needed.
• Complete daily pre-starts and machine checks.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Be reliable, hardworking, and a team player.
• Assist with installing conduits, pits and pillars.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for an immediate start.

Your Responsibilities:

Operating our 3T and 5T excavators, including working carefully around live services

Jumping off the machine to help the crew on the ground as required

Completing daily pre-starts and machine checks

Following company safety policies and procedures

Being reliable, hardworking, and a good team player

Help install conduits, pits and pillars

To be successful you will need:

Qld HR unrestricted (condition B on license is not unrestricted) drivers licence & reliable transport to get to and from site

Construction industry induction card

Excavator ticket

Minimum 3 years experiencein the civil construction industry - specifically trenching work

Full working rights in Australia
