Job summary

Field Mining Services is seeking an experienced Excavator Fitter to join our Diesel Division in the Bowen Basin. You will diagnose, maintain and repair heavy mobile mining equipment, ensuring high safety and reliability.

Ideal candidates have mining experience, Coal Board Medical, Standard 11, a valid licence, and a proactive safety mindset; you will work independently or with the team in a supportive environment and have opportunities to advance.

The Opportunity

Working as part of our experienced maintenance team, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, maintenance and repair of heavy mobile mining equipment, ensuring machinery is maintained to a high standard and operates safely and efficiently.

Preferred fleet experience includes:

• Liebherr 9800 Excavators

• Previous experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment
• Proven diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
