Job summary

Ethos BeathChapman is seeking a Network Security Architect to lead the design and delivery of a Cisco EVPN-VXLAN fabric across two data centres in Sydney. The role is a 12-month contract within a government-backed critical infrastructure organisation, hybrid with the team in the Sydney CBD office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

You will collaborate with vendors and stakeholders, ensuring secure, scalable networks and effective migration of applications.

Qualifications

• Experience designing secure, scalable networks for critical infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Baseline security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Hybrid work arrangement in Sydney CBD offices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a Cisco EVPN-VXLAN fabric between 2 data centres.
• Migrate critical applications from legacy to the new fabric.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and client stakeholders.
• Provide operational escalation support to NOC and SOC teams.
• Support business during and after cutover.
• Act as Network Security SME within project teams.
