Job summary

Tiffy Group is seeking a highly organised, commercially driven Functions & Reservations Manager to drive function sales and manage reservations across our hospitality venues in Melbourne. The role focuses on converting enquiries into confirmed events and maximizing revenue while delivering a professional, seamless client experience from first contact to event completion.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality functions, reservations, event sales, venue management or similar customer-facing sales role.
• Sales-focused and motivated by converting enquiries into business.
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple venues, enquiries and events.
• Confident speaking with clients over the phone, via email and in person.
• Comfortable conducting venue tours and selling function spaces.
• Commercially minded with understanding of function revenue and minimum spends.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming function and event enquiries across all Tiffy Group venues.
• Respond to new leads promptly, professionally and with a strong focus on conversion.
• Actively follow up tentative enquiries and outstanding proposals to convert opportunities into confirmed functions.
• Understand each venue's function spaces, packages, capacities, minimum spends and available options.
• Identify opportunities to upsell food, beverage packages, spaces and additional event requirements.
• Maintain an organised pipeline of new leads, tentative functions and confirmed functions.
• Conduct regular site visits with prospective clients and confidently showcase the group's venues.
• Prepare function proposals, contracts and supporting information.
• Build relationships with repeat clients, corporate customers and event organisers.
• Work towards agreed function sales and revenue targets.
