Murdoch University is seeking an Events Assistant to join the Marketing & Communications Office. You will support planning, coordination and delivery of a diverse range of university events and commercial bookings, liaising with stakeholders and managing key administrative processes.

As part of the Marketing & Communications Office, the Events & Partnerships team brings together expertise in event management, stakeholder engagement and partnership development. The team leads the planning and delivery of major University events, while supporting and advising other areas of the University to ensure events are professional, impactful, and aligned with the University's strategic priorities.
As an Events Assistant, you'll be part of a dynamic team that delivers a diverse range of University events and commercial bookings. You'll support event planning and coordination, liaise with stakeholders, manage key administrative processes, and provide on-the-day support to help create memorable and impactful experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across all aspects of event delivery while working closely with a collaborative team and contributing to events that support the University's strategic goals.
This Fixed Term (12 Months) | Full Time (37.5 hours per week) attracts a remuneration of $74K – $82K (pro rata) plus 17% employer superannuation contributions.
