Job summary

Toowoomba Regional Council is seeking a Venue Attendant at the Highfields Cultural Centre to deliver exemplary customer service during event setup, operation and wrap-up. The role is temporary, part-time, 15.2 hours per week, with shifts mainly on Thursdays and Fridays.

The base wage is $454.18 gross per week plus 17.5% leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation. A Certificate III in Hospitality or relevant experience is required, with WWC/Blue Card and RSA obligations outlined in the

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Hospitality or relevant experience.
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or ability to obtain.
• RSA Experience or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence is desirable.
• Excellent customer service skills and teamwork.
• A 1-page document addressing each success criterion with headings and specific examples.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run and clean up venues for events.
• Maintain a high level of customer service during events.
• Work Thursday and Friday each week.
• Follow safety and organisational requirements and complete pre-employment checks as required.
