Job summary

Life Saving Victoria in Melbourne is seeking proactive Officers - Event Logistics to support the setup and delivery of our summer carnivals and training events across Victoria. You will deliver, set up and pack down event equipment, provide on-site operational support, and assist with crowd movement while travelling to Surf Coast, Peninsula and central Melbourne locations on weekends.

A current driver’s licence is required; forklift/MR licence is desirable; weekend availability and willingness

Qualifications

Previous experience in event delivery and/or operational event logistics
Current and valid driver’s licence, with willingness to travel between locations
Availability to work weekends and after hour shifts
Victorian Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
Forklift or MR Truck Licence is desirable or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

Deliver, set up, and pack down event equipment including signage, furniture, and technical gear.
Provide operational support during events, troubleshoot equipment issues, and assist with crowd movement.
Safely lift and move heavy equipment and pallets.
Operate LSV vehicles, including pool vehicles, trucks and forklifts as required.
Travel on weekends to Surf Coast, Peninsula, and central Melbourne event locations.
