Job summary

EVT Limited is seeking a casual Conference & Events F&B Attendant to set up and service event spaces, deliver food and beverages with a smile, and help create memorable experiences for conference and event guests. You’ll greet guests, take orders, serve with care, and support smooth service across venues.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in F&B roles, knowledge of wine and cocktails, and a friendly, adaptable attitude.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience as a F&B attendant or waitstaff in restaurants, events or hotels.
• Knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktails (training will be provided).
• Friendly, approachable manner and ability to carry multiple plates.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and seat guests, providing menus and a welcoming vibe.
• Take accurate orders, including special requests and dietary needs.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and respond to requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation across service areas.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen to ensure smooth service.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently.
• Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the guest experience.
• Follow all safety and hygiene protocols, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
