We're looking for an Event Executive to manage the full event journey, from enquiry and venue tours through to contracts, planning and client coordination. You'll be the driving force behind every booking, working closely with our operations team to ensure every event is set up for success.

This role is based between our Lane Cove Head Office and Woolly Bay Hotel in Woolloomooloo, a stunning harbourside venue with unbeatable views. An immediate start is available.

What you’ll be doing (aka your day-to-day magic)
  • Splitting your time between our Lane Cove Head Office and the iconic Woolly Bay Hotel, building client relationships and bringing events to life from enquiry to handover.
  • Converting enquiries into confirmed bookings and creating exceptional client experiences from day one.
  • Managing the sales and planning process from initial enquiry through to detailed event coordination.
  • Helping clients bring their vision to life across weddings, corporate events, celebrations and special occasions.
  • Preparing comprehensive event briefs and coordinating with operations teams to set every event up for success.
  • Achieving sales, conversion and revenue KPIs while tracking budgets, maintaining accurate event records and reporting.
  • During quieter periods, picking up the phone, nurturing leads and uncovering new opportunities to keep the events calendar full and thriving.
What we’re looking for (aka your superpowers)
  • Event sales and/or event coordination experience, ideally within hospitality, venues or functions.
  • A knack for juggling clients, timelines, event details and last-minute changes without breaking a sweat.
  • Strong relationship-building skills that win over everyone from wedding couples to corporate decision-makers.
  • Organisation so sharp that managing multiple events and deadlines feels like second nature.
  • A proactive sales mindset with the confidence to pick up the phone, generate new business and uncover opportunities during quieter periods and work towards sales KPIs.
  • The ability to create detailed event plans and briefs, setting every event up for success before handing over to operations.
  • Bonus points if you've worked across weddings, corporate events or large-scale functions before.
The Laundy Story

Four generations, countless beers poured, and a legacy built on good old-fashioned hospitality, that’s the Laundy way.

From the Sackville Hotel in Rozelle back in 1945 to 40+ venues today (think Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel, The Log Cabin, Marsden Brewhouse, Woolly Bay Hotel, and more), we’ve built places where people gather, celebrate, and create memories.

We vibe best with people who are:

Accountable: Own it. Fix it. Nail it.

Curious: Ask “why” and “what if” often.

Collaborative: We win together

Driven: You hustle with heart
