MKTG Sports in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Event Director (Fixed Term Contract) to lead major brand experiences, sponsorship activations and hospitality programs across Australia’s top sporting and entertainment properties. Reporting to the Head of Events, you will own a portfolio of high‑profile activations and drive delivery from concept to on‑site execution.

Contract until the end of June 2027, this hands‑on, hybrid role is based in our Richmond office, The Commons.

Formación

• Proven experience leading events, sponsorship activations, or hospitality programs.
• Able to manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders and partners.
• Strong in pitches, client growth and balancing outcomes with business goals.
• Experience in agency, sports, events or partnerships is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of sponsorship activations and hospitality programs.
• Coordinate internal teams, partners, venues and suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
• Advise clients and rights holders with strategic guidance throughout the event lifecycle.
• Identify growth opportunities and contribute to pitches and new business.
• Lead and mentor team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
