Century is seeking a proactive Touring Co-ordinator to join their Sydney-based team. You will support the delivery of events and tours by managing ticketing, logistics, and on-ground event delivery for Century’s comedy nights, including the Sydney Comedy Festival Regional Showcase Tour.

Based in Sydney, this role offers an exciting entry into the live comedy and touring industry, with opportunities to coordinate across venues, travel interstate, and collaborate with a creative team.

Responsabilidades

• Ticketing: Set up ticketing with venues and manage inventory of sales, holds and guest-lists.
• Logistics: Book and manage accommodation, flights and transport for tours; manage itineraries.
• Marketing: Set up and monitor social media campaigns and marketing initiatives.
• Event delivery: Assist with on-ground event delivery including show running for Century’s comedy nights and tours.

Century is one of Australia’s leading entertainment businesses, with over 30 years of experience specialising in venue management, live events and touring, as well as artist representation.

We operate and manage a wide array of Sydney’s best live entertainment venues, including the iconic Enmore Theatre, Metro Theatre, The Comedy Store, The Concourse, Manning Bar, Darling Quarter Theatre and The Mighty Vic in Newcastle.

The producing arm, Century Entertainment, present a range of major events, tours and festivals across Australia throughout the year, with a particular focus on live comedy.

The Role:

As an integral member of the Century Entertainment team, the Touring Co-ordinator will be working under the direction of the Tour Producers to facilitate the successful delivery of events and tours by providing support across all aspects of the event including ticketing, logistics, event delivery & marketing.

The role, based in Sydney, is an exciting opportunity to start a career in the live comedy and touring industry.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Ticketing: Setting up ticketing with venues and managing inventory of sales, holds and guest-lists


• Logistics: Booking and managing accommodation, flights and ground transport for tours, including itinerary management


• Marketing: Setting up and monitoring social media campaigns and booking various marketing initiatives


• Event Delivery: Assist, where needed, with on-ground event delivery throughout the year including show running for Century’s various comedy nights, including the Sydney Comedy Festival Regional Showcase Tour.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential Skills:

• Strong organisation: Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, follow processes, and manage large volumes of work in a fast-paced environment


• Clear communication: Strong written and verbal skills


• Strong computer literacy: With experience using the full Microsoft Suite


• Strong work ethic


• Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required


• Ability to interpret and work within budgets


• Problem-solving and adaptability


• Full Australian drivers licence

Highly Desirable Skills:

• At least 2 years working in live events or similar administrative role


• Knowledge of live events (particularly comedy)


• Knowledge and understanding of event ticketing


• Experience in event marketing, including sound knowledge of online and social marketing


• A basic understanding of staging, technical requirements of performance, including sound and lighting requirements
