Job summary

The Union Station Hotel in Woolsthorpe is seeking a friendly Kitchen Hand/Front of House assistant to join our team. Evening and weekend shifts are available, with a focus on delivering great customer service in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Previous hospitality or bar experience is welcomed but not essential; a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn are valued. RSA certification is preferred, or the willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Available to work nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused.
• Current RSA Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Hospitality or bar experience is preferred but not essential.
• Reliable transport and a valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and efficient customer service
• Take orders and serve food and beverages
• Prepare and serve drinks in line with RSA requirements
• Operate the POS system and process payments
• Maintain a clean and organised bar and dining area
• Work closely with the kitchen and team to ensure smooth service
